WUNDERCAMERA
'Soane Time' was playing with a digital clock showing the real time at the top of the screen. The sound of the video is an ongoing clock ticking with chimes sounding the time every 15 minutes with the correct full hour chimes. The result was that the installed piece worked as a functioning, ticking, chiming clock. At the same time it seemed to show a somewhat warped live-CCTV connection to the time capsule that is Sir John Soane's Museum - the home of the collection now.
The piece travelled with the 'Wundercamera' exhibitions and was installed at the other two venues, each time receiving new site-spefic qualities, such as the illusion of a trans-atlantic CCTV transmission when on show in Savannah, as part of 'Wundercamera, Savannah'.
