WUNDERCAMERA PITZHANGER MANOR

22nd November 2013 - 11th January 2014
Pitzhanger Manor Gallery and House, London

Conceived and curated by Klaus, the first in the series brought together more than 100 works by:
Mark Dion, Jonathan Faiers, Patrick and Tristram Fetherstonhaugh, Andrew Grassie, Karl Grimes, Vid Ingelevics, Valery Katsuba, Karen Knorr, Louise Lawler, Stuart Leech/Dulwich Picture Gallery, Richard Ross, Traer Scott, Matt Stuart and Hiroshi Sugimoto.

The exhibition took over the large main gallery as well as the historic house. Selected Prints from Vid Ingelevics' project 'Camera Obscured' were interspersed between the works.

An addition to the show in the main gallery was the site specific installation of 'Museum Clausum: Now and Then': Displayed in the historic house, this image series, taken at today's Sir John Soane's Museum, photographically 'returned' parts of the collection that were initially housed in these rooms when Soane used the house as his country villa.

The exhibition was supported by a grant from the Arts Council England, granted to Klaus as individual artist.
